Job Description:
IBM’s Associate System Engineer role is designed for early professionals looking to begin a career in software engineering within IBM Consulting. You will collaborate with clients globally to support their hybrid cloud, AI, and technology transformation journeys. This role blends learning, innovation, and applied engineering skills across diverse industries while working in IBM Client Innovation Centers.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing issues under technical guidance
• Participate in end-to-end SDLC including design, development, testing, and release
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose creative coding solutions
• Deliver high-performing, scalable, maintainable software applications
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth delivery of technical solutions
• Work with modern technologies supporting hybrid-cloud and AI workflows
Requirements:
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
• Programming knowledge (Java, C++, Python, Node.js preferred)
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• No active backlogs
• BE/BTech in CS, IT, or related branches with 6 CGPA / 60%
• Fluent communication skills
• Must have completed degree before joining
• Year of Pass-out: 2025
