The Associate System Administrator role is part of Notified’s AMG/Cloud Reliability team, which plays a critical role in maintaining high availability, observability, and reliability of production infrastructure and applications.
Job Description
Notified is seeking an Associate System Administrator to join its team of Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers based in Bangalore. The AMG/Cloud Reliability team operates as a 24/7 function, providing first-line technical support and managing observability for production infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues in a 24/7 environment
- Track and resolve incidents related to production systems
- Work in rotational shifts (6 am–3 pm IST, 1 pm–10 pm IST, 9 pm–6 am IST)
- Develop, collect, and maintain key technology metrics for reliability and performance
- Participate in the software development lifecycle including application releases
- Establish monitoring and support cloud infrastructure build-outs
- Manage and maintain support and observability tools
- Act as a liaison between technical, functional, and business stakeholders
- Create and maintain runbooks, monitoring systems, and knowledge bases
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Terraform, PowerShell, or similar tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Freshers are eligible to apply
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and system administration concepts
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Industry-relevant technology certifications are desirable but not mandatory
