Job Description
As part of Cognizant’s GenC program, selected candidates will work on real-world enterprise projects while following industry-standard software development practices. The role focuses on building strong fundamentals in software engineering, agile development, and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
• Understand business requirements and raise clarifications where required
• Develop, maintain, test, debug, and deploy code as per specifications
• Understand data requirements and create test scenarios
• Work in an Agile development environment and follow SDLC practices
• Create low-level design documents for components
• Identify and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure timely completion
• Participate in team meetings and technical discussions
• Continuously upskill and reskill to adapt to new technologies
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
Requirements
• 2024 or 2025 batch BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech graduates are eligible
• Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma (if applicable), UG & PG (no rounding off)
• No standing arrears at the time of joining
• Appropriate CGPA to percentage conversion as per university norms
• Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location during assigned shifts
• Open to Indian Nationals / OCIs residing in India
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
