Job Description
Autodesk is looking for an entry-level Process Automation Engineer who will focus on workflow-based automation and system integration rather than traditional application development. The role is highly hands-on and centered around designing, building, and supporting automation workflows across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using tools like n8n and Microsoft Power Automate.
- Build Python-based AWS Lambda functions to support automation logic and integrations.
- Integrate internal and external systems using RESTful APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Deploy automation services using AWS-native patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor automation workflows, analyze failures, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python code.
- Manage configurations using JSON and YAML files.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.
- Follow governance, security, and responsible-use standards.
- Continuously explore and adopt new automation tools and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in software development, scripting, or automation engineering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Foundational to intermediate proficiency in Python (mandatory).
- Hands-on exposure to workflow automation tools like n8n, Power Automate, or similar.
- Experience working with JSON and YAML configuration files.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to backend automation orchestration platforms.
- Experience with REST APIs and integration workflows.
- Knowledge of AWS services and Lambda functions.
