Role Overview
The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support product design, cost reduction initiatives, engineering analysis, manufacturing improvements, and project execution. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement product cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare and manage engineering project plans.
- Develop business cases for engineering improvements.
- Create concept designs for sheet metal and plastic components.
- Perform DFMEA, Risk Analysis, RCA, and design verification.
- Coordinate engineering design reviews and approvals.
- Support simulations and physical product testing.
- Collaborate with suppliers for prototyping and tooling.
- Assist in Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation.
- Support product teardown, benchmarking, and VAVE activities.
