Role Overview
Software engineers will contribute to software development for Qualcomm platforms, including embedded systems, operating systems, multimedia, wireless technologies, communication stacks and connected devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
- Work on Android, Windows Mobile or Linux-based software.
- Contribute to multimedia, wireless modem and connectivity software.
- Develop communication protocol stack software.
- Work with Linux kernels, BSPs and device drivers.
- Apply object-oriented programming and software design concepts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on software projects.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering and ECE are listed educational backgrounds.
- Knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented design.
- Understanding of operating systems and data structures.
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX, drivers or kernel development is relevant.
- Understanding of wireless standards and protocols is useful.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
