Job Description
As a Software Engineer in Cisco’s Data Center Business Unit, you will work on system software development for Ethernet switching products. You will gain architectural exposure to advanced networking technologies and contribute to scalable, high-performance switching solutions.
You will be involved in the complete product lifecycle — from innovation and requirement gathering to development and product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop system software for Ethernet Switch products
Develop SDKs for next-generation network ASICs
Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, marketing, and testing teams
Work on performance, scalability, and reliability improvements
Participate in full software development lifecycle

Strong proficiency in C/C++
Knowledge of networking technologies:
