Requirements
- Master’s degree in VLSI Design, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Digital Logic Design and Computer Architecture.
- Knowledge of processor pipeline concepts such as RISC-V or similar architectures.
- Understanding of VLSI design flow and semiconductor processes.
- Programming and scripting knowledge in Python or Perl.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Work on processor development for IBM Z Systems and IBM Power Systems.
- Participate in chip design, verification, and validation activities.
- Contribute to Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon validation processes.
- Assist in physical design, EDA tools usage, and memory characterization.
- Collaborate with hardware development teams to optimize processor performance.
- Participate in debugging, testing, and documentation of hardware solutions.
