Job Description
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines that power the Denials AI workflow. You will work under senior engineers to ensure data reliability, compliance with HIPAA standards, and efficient processing.
This role offers hands-on exposure to ETL pipelines, cloud environments, SQL databases, and healthcare data compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in building, testing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL.
Support data ingestion from APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
Clean, transform, and validate datasets for consistency and accuracy.
Maintain PostgreSQL tables and write SQL queries for retrieval.
Monitor pipeline runs and escalate issues when anomalies occur.
Document data workflows, schemas, and configurations.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and information security policies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
