Requirements
Candidates should have working knowledge of the Cadence Virtuoso tool suite including schematic, layout, and analog design environment. Familiarity with analog and digital design flows, simulation, physical verification (DRC/LVS/RC extraction), and foundry PDKs is highly desirable. Applicants must be comfortable working in Linux environments and should have proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as CShell, SKILL, Python, Perl, or TCL. Exposure to compute-server grid systems like LSF, SGE, or Slurm is an added advantage. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential.
Responsibilities
The Intern – CST role involves providing high-quality technical support to Cadence team members in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices, managing service desk tickets, maintaining hardware and software inventories, and supporting operating systems, email systems, infrastructure, and cloud-based technologies. The role also requires collaboration with local and global support teams, documentation of NetOps procedures, and escalation of complex issues to level 3 NetOps support when required.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Information Technology department with various technology-related operations at Cadence. This includes user support, hardware setup, maintenance, network operations assistance, and troubleshooting. Candidates must be capable of performing essential duties efficiently, with reasonable accommodations provided for individuals with disabilities when necessary.
