Role Overview
The CloudOps Intern will assist with cloud operations, patch management, virtualization, endpoint security, scripting, documentation and IT service management while learning from senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cloud environment operations and monitoring.
- Support Windows and Linux patch-management activities.
- Assist with VMware health checks, snapshots and routine maintenance.
- Support endpoint security tools such as EDR solutions.
- Build basic PowerShell, Bash or Python automation scripts.
- Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Raise and track incidents through ITSM tools.
- Shadow senior engineers and participate in training.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a final-year degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Basic Windows and Linux knowledge.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Basic networking knowledge is useful.
- Basic database knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash or Python is useful.
- VMware and IT security awareness are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong willingness to learn and troubleshoot.
