Role Overview
The Software Development Engineer assists with software solutions across application layers, troubleshoots code issues and supports development projects according to defined requirements and instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with software design and development activities.
- Work across frontend and backend application layers.
- Troubleshoot code issues and improve software platforms.
- Participate in reviews of functional specifications and validation deliverables.
- Support small development projects under guidance.
- Develop understanding of IQVIA-specific quality standards.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of an object-oriented language such as Java, PHP, Ruby or Python.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Website development knowledge using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- React and NodeJS experience is a bonus.
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Basic SQL knowledge is desired but not required.
