Role Overview
The Services Specialist will provide technology support through the EOX-CTS function, assisting users with hardware, applications, mobile devices, IT assets, workstation issues, audiovisual technology and infrastructure-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer-focused IT support for incidents and service requests.
- Provide hardware and application support.
- Install and configure standard images on laptops and desktops.
- Support mobile device deployment, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
- Perform password resets and workstation management using Active Directory.
- Document problems, resolutions, service activities and asset transactions.
- Support the complete IT asset lifecycle, including acquisition, inventory, deployment, maintenance and disposal.
- Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors for technology purchasing and asset activities.
- Provide operational support for audiovisual equipment used in meetings and events.
- Assist LAN, WAN and Telephony infrastructure teams when local hands-on support is required.
- Provide after-hours emergency support on a rotational basis.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- B.Tech, B.E. or Engineering Graduate.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Knowledge of Zoom, Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Understanding of mobile device hardware and software.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Familiarity with video conferencing, audiovisual and telephony equipment.
- Knowledge of Active Directory administration is an advantage.
- ITIL, Microsoft MCITP, A/N+ and Dell or HP certifications are beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of network and systems security is useful.
