Job Description
As an Associate Technical Services Engineer, you will provide first-line product and technical support to customers. You will diagnose issues, research solutions, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure timely resolution within SLA guidelines.
This role requires strong analytical skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line product and technical support by resolving customer tickets within SLA.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using systematic analysis and root cause identification.
- Triage and prioritize customer issues effectively.
- Escalate complex issues while maintaining clear customer communication.
- Contribute to knowledge base documentation and reusable scripts.
- Collaborate with US teams (may require early morning or evening shifts in India).
- Participate in team learning sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in analysis, support, implementation, or testing of software systems.
- Exposure to Java, J2EE, and internet technologies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication and customer engagement skills.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Java-based applications and troubleshooting.
- SQL query writing and debugging.
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services.
- Basic UNIX command-line knowledge.
- Experience with Salesforce or Jira ticketing systems.
