Job Description
Konecranes Automation platform develops and maintains crane control system automation codes and HMI interfaces. These solutions are used across various crane applications manufactured by Konecranes. As an Automation Trainee Engineer, you will be involved in code development and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in development and maintenance of automation codes
- Work on HMI interface development for crane applications
- Collaborate with Automation Platform and R&D teams
- Support software updates and system improvements
- Participate in automation-related engineering activities
Requirements
- Good English communication skills (read, write, and speak)
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with industrial PLC systems (SIEMENS TIA Portal)
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages such as C++ or Python
- Good teamwork and multitasking abilities
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of Konecranes crane systems
- Familiarity with Konecranes internal IT systems
Experience & Education
- Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers are eligible)
- Education: BE / B.Tech or any equivalent degree
