Role Overview
The Software Engineer will contribute to complex software systems by developing tools, diagnostics, distributed architecture components, and software solutions while supporting debugging and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software using C and C++.
- Work with Linux, VxWorks, and QNX operating systems.
- Develop software in multi-threaded and multi-process environments.
- Design tools that accelerate software development and debugging.
- Analyze scalability and system interworking issues.
- Perform root cause analysis of system issues.
- Develop built-in diagnostics and test code.
- Work with distributed systems and intercommunication technologies.
- Support customer-site issue resolution.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- B.E./B.Tech qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Strong C and C++ programming skills.
- Knowledge of Linux, VxWorks, and QNX.
- Understanding of multi-threading and multi-process programming.
- Proficiency in Linux, Jira, and inter-process communication.
- Knowledge of Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, and ModBus communication is relevant.
- Understanding of IP protocols, VLANs, and Ethernet switching.
- Strong analytical, integration, and debugging skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
