Job Description
The Associate Software Engineer role at Securonix focuses on backend development using Java or PHP for building scalable and secure cybersecurity applications. Selected candidates will work in a hybrid model and contribute to enterprise-grade security platforms.
Requirements
• BE/B.Tech in CSE or IT with minimum CGPA of 7.5
• 0–1 years of experience (Freshers eligible)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Willingness to work from Bangalore or Pune (Hybrid – 3 days WFO)
Responsibilities
Java Backend Role
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Work on cybersecurity-focused backend solutions
• Maintain technical documentation and adopt best practices
PHP Backend Role
• Develop and maintain Securonix Threat Intelligence Platform (ThreatQ)
• Implement scalable backend services using PHP/Laravel
• Collaborate with product owners and designers
• Contribute to microservices and cloud-native solutions
Key Technical Skills
Java: Core Java, Spring, Microservices, SQL, REST APIs, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
PHP: Laravel/PHP, Python basics, SQL databases, REST APIs, Cloud platforms, Frontend basics
Tools & Practices: Agile methodology, testing frameworks, CI/CD, containerization
