Job Description
As a Service Desk Analyst at Zones, you will provide remote technical support to customers and act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues. The role requires strong technical fundamentals, clear communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently at first contact.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, chat, and email
- Provide core IT support to global clients in a 24/7 rotational shift environment
- Troubleshoot and configure desktop hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Perform remote diagnostics and guide users through troubleshooting steps
- Install, configure, and support Windows operating systems and applications
- Create, document, and manage real-time support tickets within SLA timelines
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams
- Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members using platforms like Microsoft Teams and Skype
- Deliver excellent customer service with strong multitasking skills
- Suggest improvements to support procedures and knowledge base articles
Requirements
- Any graduate degree (BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech)
- 0–0.6 months of experience in IT Support (freshers can apply)
- Basic understanding of computer systems and technical troubleshooting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts (24/7 environment)
- Willingness to work from the office
- Good problem-solving and multitasking abilities
