Role Overview

The Associate DevOps Engineer will work with development and infrastructure teams to improve software delivery processes through automation, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD implementation. The role involves supporting production systems, maintaining deployment pipelines, and improving engineering efficiency using modern DevOps tools.

You will gain practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker containers, Kubernetes deployments, monitoring platforms, cloud services, and automation scripting. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll develop the technical skills required to build reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Assist with provisioning and managing AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system health, investigate alerts, and participate in on-call support with senior engineers.
• Containerize applications and assist with Docker Compose and Kubernetes deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, testing, deployment, and release workflows.
• Create and maintain deployment documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in incident reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Eligibility

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or System Administration roles (Internships are considered).
• Foundational understanding of Linux or Unix system administration.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Basic experience with Git version control.
• Exposure to Docker containerization.
• Ability to write automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritize multiple engineering tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
